Privacy policy
Amazity is an invite-only AI operations service operated by AMAZITY RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED, India ("Amazity," "we," "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you visit our website, use Amazity or contact us.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information: Your name, email address, sign-in information, organization and account preferences.
- Workspace information: Content you provide or create in Amazity, including messages, prompts, files, workflows and AI responses.
- Connected-service information: Information and authorization details made available through integrations you or your organization enable.
- Usage information: Device and browser information, pages and features used, interactions, approximate location, errors and other information about how the service performs.
- Communications: Information you provide when requesting support, sharing feedback or contacting us.
The information we receive depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant.
How we use information
We use information to provide and support Amazity, manage accounts and workspaces, run requested workflows, generate AI responses, troubleshoot problems and protect the service against misuse.
During the alpha, we also use information to evaluate features, understand how the service is used and improve its reliability and usefulness. We may contact you about your account, service changes and your participation in the alpha.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you, complying with legal obligations, consent where required, or legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service, where those interests do not override your rights.
AI features and connected services
Amazity uses OpenAI and Anthropic to power AI features. Relevant prompts, conversation content and information from your workspace or connected services may be sent to these providers to produce responses. Their processing and retention are governed by the terms applicable to the services we use.
Connecting another service allows Amazity to access and use information within the permissions you grant. Workflows you authorize may send information to that service or make changes there. The connected service's own terms and privacy practices also apply.
When we share information
We share information with providers that help us deliver Amazity, including hosting, authentication, AI, communications and support providers.
Information may also be available to other people in your workspace according to their access permissions. If you use an organization's workspace, its administrators may control access and manage workspace information.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of our business, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Analytics and session replay
We use analytics and session replay to understand how Amazity is used, investigate issues and improve the service. Session replay captures a sample of interactions, such as clicks, scrolling and navigation. We mask input fields and page text, though masking may not exclude all personal information.
On our website, replay requires opt-in for visitors identified as being in the EU or UK, may run automatically elsewhere, and remains off when location is unknown. In the app, replay is enabled by default. We respect supported browser privacy signals.
How long we retain information
During the alpha, we retain account and workspace information, including information in archived workspaces, to operate, support and evaluate Amazity. Archiving a workspace does not delete its information. We have not set a fixed deletion date for all alpha data.
Retention decisions take account of the purpose for which information was collected, whether it remains needed, its sensitivity, security and dispute-resolution needs, and applicable legal obligations. Some usage information may be cleared separately without deleting your account or workspace content.
You can contact us to request deletion. We assess requests under applicable law, including any requirements or permitted reasons to retain particular information. Participation in the alpha does not remove your legal privacy rights.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of or request deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain uses; withdraw consent; or complain to a data protection authority.
Contact privacy@amazity.com to make a request or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting.
If your request concerns information your organization placed in Amazity, contact its workspace administrator first. We may need to coordinate with the organization to address it.
You can also manage integration permissions through the relevant connected service. Disconnecting an integration does not automatically delete information already received.
Security and international processing
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed in India and other countries where our providers operate. International processing remains subject to applicable data protection requirements.
Amazity is intended for business users aged 18 or older, not children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service develops. We will publish the revised date and provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
